Who we are
Precision Dent Repair ("we", "us") is a paintless dent repair business with shops at 4055 Harvester Rd Unit 6, Burlington, Ontario and 1124 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, Ontario. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada's federal privacy law for businesses.

What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Vehicle details such as year, make and model, and the city the vehicle is in.
- Photos of the damage that you choose to send us.
- Insurance claim details, if you choose to provide them.
- Technical and advertising data: IP address, device and browser information, cookies, and ad-click identifiers such as the Google Ads click ID (gclid) and UTM campaign parameters.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your quote and inspection requests.
- To repair your vehicle.
- To work with your insurer when you ask us to.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website.
Consent
When you submit a form on this website, you agree that we may contact you about your request. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at ak@precisiondent.ca or by calling either shop. Withdrawing consent may limit our ability to respond to your request.
Who we share it with
- Your insurer, when you ask us to work with it on your claim.
- Service providers that help us run our business, including website hosting, form and lead handling, our customer relationship management (CRM) system, and Google Ads and Google Analytics.
We do not sell personal information.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. This includes our website hosting, database and customer management providers.
Cookies and Google tags
Our website uses cookies and Google tags (such as Google Ads and Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure whether our ads work. We also store the ad or campaign that brought you to the site so we can connect a request to the ad that led to it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you turn off tracking or browse privately. Blocking cookies won't stop you from calling us or sending a request.
How long we keep it
We keep information from inquiries that don't lead to a repair for up to 2 years after our last contact. We keep customer repair and invoice records for 6 years, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency.
How we protect it
All information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), lead records are password-protected and only shop staff can access them, and uploaded photos are kept in private storage.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Send your request to ak@precisiondent.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your information, you have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
