A customer explains how — and why — PDR is the better choice
He's a customer who brought his vehicle into our Burlington shop and made a video about it — walking through why paintless dent repair was the best choice for him over a body shop, and what happens when a dent is fixed without filler or respray. Worth a watch if you want to see how PDR works from someone who's been through it.

Common questions about paintless dent repair, cost, insurance, and what makes your car a candidate.
What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair (PDR) is a specialized process that reshapes the metal of a vehicle panel from behind using calibrated rods and tabs, removing dents without sanding, filler, or repainting. The original factory paint stays completely intact, which preserves the vehicle's resale value and corrosion warranty.
How much does PDR cost in Hamilton or Burlington?
Most single dents start around $120–$250 depending on size, location, and panel type. Multiple dents or hail damage are quoted per vehicle. Because we reshape the original panel instead of sanding, filling and repainting it, the repair keeps your factory finish and your resale value intact — that's the real value. Send photos through our quote form for an exact estimate.
Will my insurance cover paintless dent repair?
Yes. Comprehensive insurance covers hail damage and vandalism dents, and we bill your insurer directly. We work with every major Canadian insurer and handle the claim paperwork for you.
Is my car a candidate for PDR?
If the paint isn't cracked or chipped and the metal isn't torn, PDR will work. We've successfully repaired dents up to the size of a softball. Send a photo and we'll confirm in minutes.
How long does a repair take?
Single dents usually take 30–90 minutes. Multiple dings can be done in a few hours. Hail damage typically takes 1–3 days depending on severity. Same-day service is available for most jobs.
Do you come to me?
On-site service is for dealerships, fleets, and large multi-vehicle insurance claims across the Golden Horseshoe. We do not run mobile calls for single vehicles — individual repairs are done at our Burlington or Hamilton shop, where controlled lighting and full tooling give a better result.
Do you work with dealerships?
Yes — both new and used. We offer wholesale pricing, scheduled weekly route service, lot reconditioning, and trade-in prep. Contact us about becoming a partner shop.
Does PDR void my warranty?
No. Because we never sand, paint, or use filler, PDR is non-invasive and does not affect manufacturer paint warranties or corrosion warranties.
Will the dent come back?
No. Properly executed PDR is permanent. The metal is reshaped to its original geometry — once it's out, it stays out.
